Anita Rosamond

vocalist, pianist, and band leader

Born in St. Louis, Anita Rosamond began her musical career in her early teens, playing piano, singing, and recording with her older brother's band. She later recorded an album in Nashville with Roy Orbison's band. 

Anita now has five additional recording projects to her credit. Her early 2006 recording, "Timeless", established Anita as one of the finest vocalists and entertainers in the Midwest. Anita's critically acclaimed holiday CD, "This Is Christmas", was also released in 2006. The band's latest CD, "Keep Liftin' Me Higher" - LIVE! is a special Tribute to the divas of the '60s & '70s and was recorded live at Harrah's Casino. 

Anita has also performed the National Anthem at Busch Stadium for St. Louis Cardinals games.

In addition to her many appearances throughout the US, Anita has performed in England, Australia, and the Caribbean. 

Her musical background and life experiences encompass many influences. These include pop, R&B, rock & roll, jazz, country, and gospel music, enabling her to create a unique voice and approach to music.
